18 OCT - 30 NOV, times variable

at Art Hub Ballarat

10 Lydiard St N, Ballarat VIC

FREE EVENT

The Pigeonhole Gallery is a unique display of small works from emerging and established ceramic artists in the Ballarat region. As part of the Ballarat Clay Collective residency program, the BCC has curated a small selection of works to have the collective present throughout the residency. Maddison Lauren Trezise is the current artist in residence. She will be present in the space until the end of November. After which, the BCC will be hosting a pop-up retail shop for the month of December. In the new year, Kirsten Ives will be taking up the space as the artist in residence, still as a BCC artist and extending the collective's presence in the heart of Ballarat into 2025. Come down to the historic Lydiard Street and take the opportunity to engage with local art and artists as they work!

Archive: Prints on Paper | Exhibition

10am - 4pm, Wednesday to Saturday

at TBH Studio, No 57 Bridge Mall, Ballarat

FREE ENTRY

Archive is a small collection of works that have been sitting unused, incomplete, and forgotten about in storage. With the aim of fostering sustainability in artistic practice, Archive aims to complete and display a small portion of works with the idea of continuing this idea in future. The works in this collection show the experience of a small studio artist and how throughout the creative process, there are ways in which many outcomes can be reached and expanded upon. Archive is about reimagining, reusing and most importantly, it’s about reflecting on creative practices and how they can be improved. Sarah Mischker is a multidisciplinary artist specialising in ceramic sculpture and painting. She also likes to dabble in many other fields including printmaking, video art and installation art. Archive is a small collection of her works which would not otherwise be seen within her main practice and folios.
